RangeLand® Protein Tubs are a free choice supplement designed for beef cattle on forage diets. The low-moisture, cooked molasses product enhances intake and utilization of available forages, while reducing labor. And, the recyclable ClearView plastic tubs allow the remaining feed level to be checked from a distance.
Life Stage: Cow & Calf
Supplements: Self fed
Low-moisture cooked molasses product technology: Consistent intake and nutrient delivery that helps eliminate over-consumption
Positive associative effects when fed with low-to medium-quality forages: Molasses provides readily available energy to stimulate rumen fermentation that helps the animal extract more energy from the forage, as demonstrated by research showing increased forage intake and utilization
Contains FDA-approved animal protein products: Provides high-quality by-pass proteins needed to optimize animal performance
Provides optimum levels of trace minerals at a 1-pound consumption rate: Supports fertility, immune function and overall health
No added salt: Intake is not regulated by salt as in other supplements, which can be unpredictable and more variable
Supplement delivery method that fits a variety of production systems: Convenient supplement delivery system is ideal for small beef producers with other time commitments, as well as large producers who experience time and labor shortages
Easily monitor consumption with ClearView packaging: Translucent tubs make it easy to see when supplement is running low, so it can be replaced before cattle run out of critical nutrients

As a cattle producer, you know the efficiency of converting the most basic resource (forage) to salable pounds of beef is what drives profitability. And nothing enhances that conversion from mature forage like ADM Animal Nutrition’s Roughage Buster. Roughage Buster is a uniquely designed supplement designed to provide crude protein, scientifically formulated major and trace minerals, plus vitamins A, D and E to cattle on pasture or high roughage rations. The crude protein is supplied primarily by ADM’s exclusive product biuret, a non-protein nitrogen source, which is released gradually in the rumen. The bottom line – Roughage Buster supplementation pays by delivering the most economical nutritional program, enabling cattle to consume more forage and extract more energy, leading to better productivity.
Roughage Buster features:
Biuret – An ADM exclusive source of slow release, non-protein nitrogen that enhances the rumen microbes’ ability to more extensively digest forage
Rumen bypass copper, zinc and manganese
Proprietary source of cobalt – A unique source of cobalt, facilitating better forage digestion for more available energy
Magnesium carbonate – A more available source of magnesium with a huge perk that it’s highly palatable; no more trying to mask the taste of traditional magnesium sources
No added potassium – Forages typically supply ample amounts of potassium
More efficient utilization of your forage resources
Provides needed protein, minerals and vitamins; a nutritionally balanced diet will result in better cow condition, better feed efficiency, more milk production, better-breed back and enhanced forage utilization
Encourages faster gain in growing cattle and developing heifers
Safe to feed to all classes of cattle during all stages of production
The BoviBox is housed in biodegradable cardboard boxes and designed to provide free choice to pasture cattle turned out on low-quality grasses during the fall and spring months.
Extremely palatable
Convenient box is easier to spread out than conventional mineral tubs
Encourages cattle to travel to unused pasture locations
Biodegradable, edible packaging
Feed in the box or easily remove for standalone feeding

Feeding Instructions
1 block per 15-25 head
Provide free choice as a supplement to pasture cattle at the rate of one block for each 15 to 25 head.
Cattle should consume approximately 1 to 2 pounds per head per day. Consumption may vary depending on weather, forage, body condition of cattle, and/or availability of other feeds.
Intake of supplement can be altered by increasing or decreasing the number of blocks per pasture, moving closer or farther from watering locations, shade or loafing areas, or by providing other supplemental feeds.
Provide access to fresh, clean water at all times.
Optimize your cattle's nutrition and pasture utilization with Rangeland convenient supplement tubs. Designed for easy integration into your feeding program, each tub supports 20-25 head, with a minimum of two per pasture to ensure even intake, especially for younger or timid animals. Simply place tubs within 100 feet of loafing, grazing, feeding, and watering areas for consistent daily consumption of 1/2 to 1 pound per head. These tubs also serve as a valuable management tool, allowing strategic placement to encourage grazing in underutilized pasture areas. Remember to provide ample forage, fresh water, and a separate salt source, as this product does not contain added salt. Monitor consumption, adjusting tub placement as needed for optimal results, especially during the initial introduction period.
